The Black Achievement Scholarship
4-Year University
The Black Achievement Scholarship is intended to support the academic success of Black graduating seniors within Washington County. The scholarship honors the enduring legacy of achievement and creativity from those who have come before us. From Katherine Johnson to Benjamin Banneker, and the thousands of other scientists, artists, teachers, lawyers, and movement makers, Black people have persevered through racial injustice to achieve excellence and positive change for our communities and nation. We believe in the potential that our youth have to be the next generation of change agents - to make this world a better, safer, stronger, and more beautiful place to be.
