Black & Green Fellowship

Black & Green Fellowship is a paid leadership program for BBPU students focused on building connections to community, identity, and the outdoors.
Over four Saturdays, students will spend time in local nature spaces learning from Black professionals about environmental justice, wellness, and leadership. The program centers on hands-on experiences, reflection, and community-building to foster confidence and a sense of belonging in outdoor spaces.
This year, early applicants will be entered into a raffle for a gift card. Submit by April 5th, 2026 to be entered

Program Dates: May 2, May 9, May 16, and May 23, 2026
Fellows receive a $250 stipend for full participation and are introduced to environmental and community-based career pathways. Students who complete the program may also be eligible for a paid summer internship with opportunities for mentorship, job shadowing, and career skill development. Additionally, fellows who refer other leaders will be given a bonus upon completion of the program
